The "Line" style of "I am online with u" font family was inspired by the idea of the digital connection of two people living in different parts of the world. Later on this idea was expanded, including different styles such as "Dashed" or "Dotted", which built the font family taking the initial idea to another level and keeping the connectivity concept alive. This typeface works best when used in big sizes.

UUeirdie is weird.

Ornata E is the fifth of a series of old ornaments that I am trying to save from oblivion. I am completely redesigning the ornaments from scratch, trying in this one to keep the rough "letterpress" character. These ornaments were designed around 1910, I could not find out by whom. Founded on a rigid structure of modernist type, Calypso E has a determined tone without an authoritative tang. It is an updated interpretation of a Neo-grotesque model Egyptian with a hint of Humanist lightness in its forms. Seriously big x-height, square basic form and sturdy serifs create firm text regardless of the weight. This makes Calypso E well suited for various media, from sharp plotter images to low-res television screens. Calypso E includes four suitable body copy styles. Book, Regular, Normal and Medium can be applied according to, for example, the size of text and quality of paper. All styles in the family are equipped with an expanded character set, small caps, case sensitive forms, discretionary ligatures and much more to make even the most elaborate typographic detailing possible.

E-Lie is based on the logo for the Portland band E-Lie. Jon Lincicum designed the logo, and then the basic shapes of the principal letters and numbers. He then gave these designs to Shaun Kennedy, who expanded the design, adding punctuation, accented letters, and math symbols. Shaun then compiled the designs into an OpenType font, adding kerning and ligature information. The design is a distinctive, stylistic font excellent for use when you need to grab someone's attention.

The major focus of my life and ministry at this point is book design. In the brave new world of 21st century self-publishing a new paradigm has arisen: the indie small shop. One of the problems is that all books are published as ebooks, and many books are published only as ebooks. There are two problems with this: character availability and licensing. The licensing problem is solved by including an ebook license with all of the Librum E fonts. The character availability is the core of the design. OpenType features do not work yet with ePUBs [though it is in the spec, if I understand correctly]. Kerning doesn't work, and so on. So these five fonts have only the 256-character [or less] ASCII set. A separate small caps is included. It has lining figures {proportional} and small caps instead of the graphics. The other four fonts have graphics to give bullet choices in lists, oldstyle figures {proportional}, and care given to character shapes so they will work better without kerning. This roly-poly romp through the alphabet is based on Jürgen Riebling's irrepressible Mr. Big from the 1970s. Big, bold, bubbly and a little brash, it's a natural choice for happy headlines. Both versions contain the complete Latin 1252, Central European 1250 and Turkish 1254 character sets.

Hasan Alquds U is an Arabic display typeface. It is useful for titles and graphic projects where a contemporary, streamlined look is desired. The font is based on the simple lines of Kufi calligraphy, and the uniform slope of its strokes gives it a structured, geometric feel. It supports Arabic, Persian and Urdu languages. Hasan Alquds is the first released typeface of collaboration between Hasan Abu Afash and Mamoun Sakkal.

SCR fonts are screen optimized (also called 'pixel fonts'). Unlike standard fonts (and like the few well-hinted fonts like Verdana or Arial), they give a crisp look on screen at very small sizes, thus increasing legibility. The perfect applications for those fonts are web pages and software user interfaces (computer, cellular phones, console games and any other system that uses a screen interface). Unlike most pixel fonts, SCR fonts contain kerning information. Kerning is the adjustment of space between certain pairs of characters (like 'AV') to make text look more fluid, thus increasing legibility and appeal. To benefit from this feature, auto-kerning must be activated in the application. In Photoshop, kerning must be set to 'Metrics'. Although SCR fonts are optimized for screen, they can be used for print (in Illustrator or Indesign for example) for a decorative 'computer text' effect. In this case, there is no constraint: they can be used as any other font. For screen use (in Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash... ), they have to keep aligned with the screen pixel grid not to look blurred or distorted. To achieve this, here are the guidelines to follow: RESOLUTION If the application permits it (Photoshop, Fireworks), document resolution must be set to 72 pixels per inch. SIZE The font size must be set to 10 (or multiples of 10) points. POSITIONING & ALIGNMENT The reference points of text fields and text blocks (upper left corner for left aligned text, upper right for right aligned text) must be positioned at integer values of pixels. In Photoshop, text can be precisely moved with [Edit Free Transform]. In Flash, movie clips containing text fields must also be positioned at integer values on the stage. Text must be aligned to the left or right only. Center alignment can be simulated with left alignment by adding spaces at the begin of each line. To dispense with the positioning and alignment constraints, text anti-aliasing can be turned off if the application permits it (Photoshop, Flash MX 2004). OTHER SETTINGS Leading (line spacing), tracking (letter spacing), manual kerning and baseline shift must be set either to integer values of points or to multiples of 100 units (depending on the application). Vertical and horizontal scaling must be set to 100%. Faux bold or Faux italic must not be used. The document must neither be resized on export, nor allow resizing (Flash Movies).

Coronet is a non-joining script font first issued by Ludlow. The capitals have been drawn with a degree of freedom whereas the lowercase are more formal in structure. The ascending lowercase letters of the Coronet font are quite tall, descenders are short. Coronet is a useful script for informal occasions, such as invitations, flyers and greetings cards.

Calypso I (Italian) draws its inspiration from type founders' plentiful show-off-letters, which were typical on title pages and lithographs in the early 19th century. It borrows luscious details from these but inherits a stiff modern backbone from its parent, Calypso E (Egyptian). Within the Calypso type family all fonts share the same dimensions and work together consistently. Calypso I supports many languages and includes, for example, four sets of basic numerals, circled numbers, alternative characters, case sensitive forms and dingbats. Give it a go on drop caps and headlines or even set short paragraphs with it. It loves colour and effects.

Core Gothic E is a simple and modern sans-serif Korean font consists of 9 weights (Thin, ExtraLight, Light, Regular, Medium, Bold, ExtraBold, Heavy & Black). Character set is consist of Korean 11,172 characters, Hirakana & Katakana, Latin and Korean symbols. It is well balenced between Korean and Latin characters. Latin typeface (Core Sans E) was adjusted to be matched with korean typeface. Spaces between individual letter forms are adjusted in detail so that it makes perfect typesetting. Supported codepages are MS Windows 1252 Latin1 and MS Windows 949 Korean. We recommend to use for books, web, screen displays and so on.

Love them or hate them Cats are one of the most successful animals on the planet. If they had thumbs we would all be in trouble. Fortunately for us these four legged sharks have managed to domesticate us and we are able to coexist peacefully. So this font is to share the joy of being blessed with the presence of such noble animals be it those of the Pantherinae Felidae or the not so humble Felis Catus (Domestic Cat). Why the Turkey?
